Hello, I’m Paul. I am Octopus.

My approach is a simple one. I place PR at the heart of marketing in order to generate activity that delivers a clear and measurable return on investment.

That said, some of my proudest moments in PR can only be measured by the smile on my face. These include:

• Getting worldwide coverage for the world’s first flying classroom
• Being a finalist in the Outstanding Small Consultancy category of the Midlands CIPR PRide Awards
• Being included in The Drum magazine’s list of 100 Best Freelancers
• Getting a client shortlisted as one of the most influential people in his industry
• Winning a PR award for a BT campaign
• Managing the PR for a royal visit
• Mentoring PR prodigies in a campaign to make links with David Beckham and the Queen (which resulted in the above)
• Gerald Ratner responding personally to one of my blogs
