He runs Britain’s biggest blinds store chain. It’s a franchise network that is part of the world’s largest manufacturer of window blinds.

I am part of the company’s management team and I am responsible for launching new franchise businesses and providing marketing support for existing franchisees.

Supporting franchisees

Specifically, I have managed:

• 15 new franchise launches (which have all developed turnovers of at least £100,000 per year)
• 4 existing businesses taken over by new franchisees
• 7 existing franchisees wanting extensive support (increased the turnover of some businesses by 50%)

Supporting the business

In supporting the management team, I have:

• Advised on crisis management on issue of child fatalities
• Facilitated a child safety campaign on ITV’s Daybreak
• Written the company’s Franchisee Operations Manual
• Drafted the company’s internal weekly comms
• Scheduled, promoted and arranged all promotional literature and artwork
